Sproutland follows Beth as she navigates the constant reminders of her deceased husband — in the local juice bar, in the yoga studio, and at home with her son. As Beth forges a path she neither expected nor wanted, she learns that life can hold despair and joy at the same time.

Winner of 13 Film Festival Awards, this short film is the fiction debut of Oscar-winning documentary director Cynthia Wade.

In a small town on the outskirts of Reno, soft-spoken Sunday School teacher and single-mom Harriet Pine embraces a new profession: neighborhood pimp.

HORNY is the story of HARRIET PINE (40s) a submissive, God-fearing woman whose world is thrown upside down after her husband leaves her with nothing but a money-pit of a failed dude ranch.

After participating in a church outreach to the local legal brothel, Harriet befriends an eccentric sex worker LILY STAR who is unsatisfied with the amount she is making at the brothel and decides to go back to street work.

Being the good samaritan she is, Harriet offers her a place to stay at the dude ranch where Lily Star begins to turn tricks, giving a percentage of her profits to Harriet.

The two women quickly learn that they can help each other get out of their financial struggles. Harriet believes that she is receiving a blessing from God for protecting Lily Star.

Harriet decides to revitalize the dude ranch for guests who want to solicit sex, all while maintaining her faith, justifying her convictions, and keeping the business a secret from her son and tight-knit community of churchgoers.
